The Man is Big

The man is big – the sea is small. The whale is big too – but not as big as the man. That’s why the whale fits into the sea perfectly, but the man doesn’t. The story about a man, who lost his dreams, and a whale, who kept them safe. But the world turned upside down and the sea became a desert. And the whale had to go to sleep in the sky. Would the man be able to find his dreams again? Would he ever feel the joy of being one with the world? The philosophical tale of someone, who like Jonah, lost his way and was rescued.

A stop motion fairy tale in which an aquatic creature tries to win the heart of a sea-witch. Tootega is a witch who ekes out an isolated existence on an iceberg adrift in the ocean. It’s a miserable lot, and in Tootega’s case, misery hates company! Derek is a merman – more fish than man really – who spends his days joyously rollicking around the ocean, oblivious to the fact that his dreadful singing is the very reason he remains friendless. FISHWITCH is the story of what happens when these two unlikely characters come together, as Derek begins to unlock the painful secret Tootega has kept hidden for a long, long time…
