For the 2017 Festival, we are delighted to introduce a Special Presentation Cine-Concert, The Cohens and the Kellys, which will be presented through the direct support of Festival Friends. The Cohens and Kellys (1926) is a lively ethnic silent comedy of feuding Irish and Jewish families in 1920s New York. The film is filled with stock characters played with great comic flair by a remarkable cast in their prime, eg Cork-born Kate Price. Hilarious, warm, and timelessly entertaining, the film will be accompanied by an improvised live musical score from multi-award-winning accordionist Dermot Dunne and saxophonist Nick Roth, Artistic Director of the Yurodny Ensemble, drawing heavily on Irish and Jewish folk music traditions.

*Eligible for one adult ticket to all standard film screenings. Please note, this does not include Special Presentations, food events, live music events or simultaneous screenings. Additional tickets may be purchased when booking.
