Sandoval plays Olivia, an undocumented migrant working as a carer for elderly Olga (Lynn Cohen) in Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach. When Olga’s grandson Alex (Eamon Farren) returns to the neighbourhood, he is immediately drawn to the sensitive Olivia, though she is reticent about revealing too much about herself or her circumstances to him.
