1970s Spain, and talented chef, Fernando and his brother Alberto are on the run from Barcelona, following a brush with the police. Landing at ‘The Surreal’ beach bar, Cadaqués, home to legendary artist Salvador Dalí, the chef finds new inspiration from the magical combination of the sun-drenched Mediterranean, owner Jule’s independent daughter, and the magical surrealism that has rubbed off on the town. Seduced by the free spirits of Cadaqués, Fernando abandons his haute cuisine French recipes to create culinary works of art from local produce that might even catch Dali’s eye. A deliciously fun comedy drama. FC
