Ella Glendining was born without hip joints and shortened femurs, a very rare set of physical conditions. Having grown up loving her body, but knowing nobody with a similar one, Ella ventures out beyond her East Anglian home to try and find someone that she can physically relate to. A remarkably powerful, disarmingly funny and thoroughly engaging film about discrimination, all-pervasive societal ableism and the strength of self-love needed to carve out a space that fits you in this world. RBC

Winner, KrakówFF 2023 – Silver Horn Award; Official Selection – Sundance Film Festival 2023, South By Southwest 2023

Director Ella Glendining will participate in a Q&A session after the screening. She will also be the keynote speaker at Doc Day as part of our Industry Events on 24 Nov.
