Penelope and Isidoro navigate their relationship in a world where time is non-linear, and past, present and future skip back and forth arbitrarily every time they wake.

The second film from Greek director Kyros Papavassiliou, Embryo Larva Butterfly is a visually stunning jigsaw puzzle which we, the viewer, must piece together whilst Penelope and Isidoro are doing the same with their lives. A time-travel story the likes of which none of us has witnessed before, and a relationship drama where the future may already be written. SE
