The latest work from celebrated documentarian Laura Nix follows six brilliant students as they prepare for the world’s largest high school science competition: the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. These young scientists, from Indonesia, India, Mexico and Hawaii, have recognised threats to their local and the global environment and set out to find solutions to change the world. Inventing Tomorrow is a valuable acknowledgement of a generation that can’t rely on others to ensure they have a future and the hopeful, positive tone marks it out from the growing cannon of films addressing environmental issues.
