Irish Shorts 1: In Competition
A programme of Irish and world premieres. There’s been many a short film programme bearing the promise of an eclectic mix, but do they combine absurdist humour, psycho-sexual horror and small town ennui, while also taking you around the world, from London to Nepal to Kenya, and back down to earth to a take-away in Scariff, Co. Clare? It’s quite a journey, and that last stop is perhaps the most transcendent leg of it!
It’s best not to say too much, suffice to say it’s a delight to present these exciting voices, telling a variety of stories - many of whom we have presented work from before.
