Iranian-born, UK-educated filmmaker Babak Jalali presents a telling, pertinent drama of three Native American brothers. Wesley (James Coleman) is a desperate alcoholic. Booze is not permitted on his reservation, so each day he travels to a liquor store on its border to drink his time away. Raymond (Rod Rondeaux) has made progress in silencing his demons, working hard on a cattle ranch. Floyd is absent, part of an army unit fighting in Afghanistan. When news of Floyd’s death filters through, the family have to deal with the bureaucratic obstructiveness of the US government while confronting the tragedy.
