Screening as part of Super Cine Saturday: a ‘Taste of CIFF’ with three specially selected feature films from the 68th Festival programme screening across Cork City & County.

1980s New York. Dog lives in an apartment in Manhattan, and decides to put an end to being alone by building himself a robot companion. Dog and Robot quickly become the best of friends, relishing their time together exploring the Big City, until an incident at the beach forces them apart. Will they ever meet again?

The first animated feature from Spanish filmmaker Pablo Berger (Blancanieves), adapted from Sara Varon’s graphic novel, Robot Dreams is one of the loveliest films of the year. SE

Robot Dreams will also screen on Sunday, 12 November in The Everyman.
