Small, Slow but Steady
Keiko is a young professional boxer born with a hearing impairment. Although this adds to the challenges of her training, Keiko is happy with her very patient boxing club, and she is close with her coach. But the fallout from COVID-19, together with her coaches failing health, causes Keiko to begin doubting her abilities, and herself. A beautifully patient film from director Sho Miyaki, with rhythmic audio and beautiful cinematography, made all the more impactful when you consider that it is based on a true story. SE
