The tale of a crew of motorcycle enthusiasts, The Vipers, from the mid-sixties Midwest, as relayed by one of the crew’s wives, Kathy (a tremendous Jodie Comer) to a local photographer.

The latest film from Jeff Nichols (Take Shelter), The Bikeriders has all the energy of a classic mobster film yet none of the cliché, with superb performances from Austin Butler as the brooding Benny, Tom Hardy as the gangs’ leader Johnny, and Michael Shannon as the damaged Zipco, all carried along by a glorious soundtrack spinning from the Shangri-Las to The Stooges. Guaranteed to get your motors running! SE
