Industry Events at CIFF

Cork International Film Festival’s annual high-calibre Industry Days provide invaluable opportunities for established and emerging filmmakers to connect, and to explore all aspects of the film industry.

Creating unique, inclusive cultural experiences for audiences to discover through the power of film, and for filmmakers to connect and learn, is at the core of our work.

Presented in partnership with our Official Industry Partner

Supported by Coimisiún na Meán

FIRST TAKE

First Take is a training and development event for film and media students, emerging filmmakers and newly established film professionals. Through individual presentations, case studies and panel discussions, the event aims to promote fresh thinking and foster DIY ethics amongst attendees, inspiring them to create their own film projects, and to proactively promote their work.

DOC DAY LIVE

Doc Day is an industry event aimed at established filmmakers, producers and company members working within the Irish documentary sector, with the objective of connecting Irish documentary filmmakers with top documentary film industry professionals.

DOC DAY ONLINE

A supplementary Doc Day Online programme is also made available, free of charge post-Festival, for wider remote access to the training.
