CIFF awarded Investors in Diversity Bronze Award from The Irish Centre for Diversity

May 04, 2023 |
News

We are delighted to have been awarded the Investors in Diversity Bronze Award from The Irish Centre for Diversity.

Cork International Film Festival is committed to ensuring the Festival is accessible and inclusive for all by providing detailed access information for our Festival goers. As a local festival with global focus, CIFF has celebrated and promoted multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusion for seven decades. We welcome all visitors to screenings and events and are committed to ensuring that the Festival, its venues and activities, are accessible and inclusive.

Bronze is the first of the three stages in the Investors in Diversity EDI Mark. It provides organisations with a framework to put in place a strong foundation to embed EDI into wider organisational systems. In addition to being a starting point for those that are beginning their EDI journey, this best practice model enables organisations, at all stages of their EDI journey, to measure and demonstrate EDI maturity.

In order to gain a ‘Bronze Investors in Diversity EDI Mark’, organisations must provide evidence that they have put in place appropriate D&I Policies, have delivered effective communication of policies to all staff and have undertaken D&I training for all Leaders.

This programme was supported by @Cork Chamber Skillnet – a multi-sector network committed to providing training for local businesses – as part of their commitment to Diversity in the workplace.
