Cork International Film Festival is a local, national and international celebration of cinema, running each year in Cork City in November. The 68th edition is taking place from from the 9th to the 26th November 2023 in Cork City, County and nationwide online, showcasing the latest and best Irish and international features, documentary, short films, industry days, special events and digital programme.

We are now recruiting for a number of seasonal roles to deliver another successful Festival.

BOX OFFICE DEPUTY MANAGER
Application Deadline: 15th September
Overview
The Box Office Deputy Manager will work in close collaboration with the Box Office Manager to oversee a busy multi-site and online Box Office operation, supervising the customer service and sales team, ensuring a high standard of customer care. The Box Office Deputy Manager will be in charge of training all customer service staff, and escalate calls when necessary.
Human resource management and customer support experience required; knowledge of Eventive and soft-phone systems is desirable.

VENUE MANAGERS (2 -3 weeks Nov)

Overview
Responsible for the smooth running of Festival venues, managing a team of volunteer Front of House staff, and liaising with the production and marketing teams to ensure the timely and smooth running of a busy screening schedule, whilst maintaining an excellent customer service to festival guests and audiences.

BOX OFFICE/CUSTOMER SERVICES STAFF (3 weeks Nov)

Overview
The Festival requires Box Office and Customer Services staff to work pre-and during the festival in a busy multi-site environment to maximise sales opportunities and deliver a high level of customer service. Knowledge of Eventive an advantage.
