Mag Mag
Local legend tells of a curse where a two-metre tall female ghost known as Mag Mag haunts the men she falls in love with, terrifying them to death. When the object of Sanae's unrequited affections becomes a victim of Mag Mag's curse, she becomes intent on revenge, veering into territory even more bizarre than the curse itself!
The debut film from Japan’s latest comedy sensation (and two-time America's Got Talent veteran) Yuriyan Retriever, Mag Mag takes the traditional J-horror tropes and gives them an invigorating shake. A surreal and hilarious trip which, once seen, can never be forgotten.

This film is eligible for the Lookout Award.
