Job Opportunity: Development Officer with Cork International Film Festival

Jun 08, 2021 |
News

As a participant in RAISE Accelerate, an Arts Council initiative designed to build arts organisations’ capacity to generate significant new private investment, Cork International Film Festival is now seeking a Development Officer.

The Development Officer will work closely with CIFF’s CEO and Management team. The role will focus on researching and supporting acquisition of new corporate and individual supporters; stewarding and developing our existing public, corporate and individual supporters; writing and managing grant applications and reports; and contributing to the development of new digital fundraising campaigns. This person will have an affinity for the vision, mission and values of CIFF, will be an effective fundraiser and will build on their previous experience within the cultural sector.

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated, creative, strategic thinker with strong communication and relationship management skills. You will be comfortable researching new opportunities, drafting grant applications and report writing. The successful candidate will maintain and build upon donor engagement through effective communication and will give creative support to new digital and fundraising campaigns.

If you’re a creative, confident, and resilient forward-thinker with excellent relationship building skills, a passion for film, and ambitious about developing your skills to achieve big results, and are eager to grow your fundraising experience, this could be the role for you!
