Skintown

It is the summer of 1994 and, as Northern Ireland takes its first steps towards peace, best friends Vinny (Jack Rowan) and Jonty (Chris Walley) are desperate to escape their small-town life in conflict-torn Enniskillen (Skintown). To do so, they embark on the most reckless trip of their lives.

What follows is the best night of their lives but their nation’s tangled history deals one more deadly blow.

Kieron J. Walsh's charming film won the top award at the Edinburgh Film Festival, to the delight of its loving audience. Skintown is sharp and engaging, funny and sad, it stirs up strong emotions you'll want to come and experience. The right kind of trip!
