Lord Puttnam Scholars Screening
Cork International Film Festival is delighted to partner with UCC to present the premiere screening of Peggy, by the 2024 Lord Puttnam Scholars. Following the screening there will be a panel discussion with the Scholars and David Puttnam.
The Lord Puttnam Scholarship programme offers UCC students from any discipline the opportunity to work with and learn from digital education pioneer and CIFF Patron, David Puttnam (Oscar®-winning producer of films, including Chariots of Fire, The Mission, The Killing Fields, and Midnight Express).
Peggy
When her eldest son drops in for tea and begins to bicker with his brother, Peggy’s patience is put to the test. As the pains of the past and filial jealousies bubble to the surface between Cormac and Joe, Peggy decides there is no point in crying over spilt milk and applies an old saying to her own life: actions speak louder than words…
Free but ticketed.
