Berlin Hero (Der Held Vom Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse)

Berlin video store owner Micha Hartung is on the verge of bankruptcy when, overnight, he unexpectedly becomes a hero: on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, an ambitious journalist from a news magazine suddenly portrays him as the mastermind behind the largest mass escape from the GDR. An unintentional impostor, Micha finds himself catapulted into the spotlight — and even meets the woman of his dreams, Paula. He never imagined that a successful, smart, and witty woman like her could be interested in an ordinary man like him. Yet the blossoming romance, like the rest of his life, threatens to collapse under a chaos of lies and false reports.
